Ravenspoint Saga

Ravenspoint Saga is a short contemporary film set in South Lochs. A young couple are courting and plan to marry with a traditional Island wedding in a house by the shore of Loch Erisort. As the story unfolds the landscape and folklore of the region intervene with unfortunate consequences. Click here to find out more.


Wild

During 2016-2017 Rural Nations artists are working on the development of a film / animation and theatre performance initially inspired by the Northern traditional story of The Eagle Who Stole the Baby. The work will focus on the importance of wild land, rewilding and the growing raptor populations in the The Hebrides and the North of Scotland.

 

Hebrides International Film Festival 2016

Following the success of our October 2015 Islands and Environments Film Festival we are planning our third Hebridean film Festival, the dates are 14-17th September 2016.
